Smile Newbie from Texas

Hello. I just bought my first motorhome. I've had several TT's and I find several similarities but some difference that I don't always understand. I bought the motorhome to use for going to and staying at canine agility trials. My frist trip will be this weekend.

Thanks. I bought a 2004 Fleetwood Jamboree 23E and really like it. There are several things I don't know yet so I'll be asking lots of questions. I haven't found the battery so I can check the water yet! My trips will be short at first so I should learn a lot before I make a road trip.

Howdy fellow Texan and welcome! I have a coworker who raises Shelties and also competes in agility events. Be sure to check out the "RVing with Pets" section of the forum as there are others who attend and/or compete in dog shows.

I had a Sheltie about 20 years ago named Blue! Loved that Dog. He' loved to go riding around the lake in my Kayak and camping with me in the Pop I had back then. If he saw me hitching up the Camper and putting his dog carrier in the back seat of my SUV he knew we were going camping together. Boy did he get excited. He was a good Kayaker in the local Texas Rivers. No Serious Whitewater, but he's duck down and ride out Waco Falls just fine. He loved hanging out with me. We were inseparable!

I tried to get another last year and bought a beautiful little male, but my allergies kicked in with him in the house and I couldn't keep him. I almost dies in 48 hours of bringing him home.. A shame too because he had Blue's personality.
Welcome to the Group. What part of Texas are you in? Since it's so big you could be hours from anyone, or right next door.
