Newbie from Texas
Hi Y'all!
My husband and I have been fulltiming in our 5th wheel for the last 2 years. We decided we'd like to try a motorhome, so we sold our 5th wheel a couple weeks ago and are now looking for a used Class C. We've been exploring floor plans and think we like the rear kitchen floor plan as it seems to give the most living space of the under 30 foot Class C's. We don't like the wasted space a bed takes up when we are awake. Would love to hear from others who have an RV with this layout! Also, if you would like to sell yours, please contact me.
I have a blog that I update rather infrequently, nevertheless, it's there if you'd like to learn more about us and how we got into RV'ing. It's at http://camperwife.blogspot.com
Glad to find this forum!

Thanks for the welcome everybody!
flcountryboy, we decided that we would like to do some traveling around, and liked the idea of just parking and going to the rear without going outside. Way less setup than a 5th wheel! It's all a matter of preference though. 5th wheels are great for staying in one place for a while. But we wanted to travel alot, and setting up somewhere different every day or so was too much with a 5th wheel. That's our "why."

Why class c? In Texas you have many large dealerships that have class a's in a varsity of models, age and prices. We just moved from a 5er to or class a, there is so much storage in and under it you want believe. Don't rule them out cause an older one well maintained will still travel many miles, that's with you sitting high above the traffic. There not really that hard to drive. Bye the way welcome
