Newbie from the Adirondack NYS

Good day everyone:
I'm not sure I'm a newbie as we are now exploring the possibilities of purchasing an RV. so we might even go with Embryos. The reality is that my wife has Parkinson's and our retirement has taken a complete 360. I have been looking at the Pre-owned Safari line and find it is conducive to our particular needs. I've read some threads and agree with the used assessment issues with low and high milage. They make total sense. I'm in no rush to buy and will travel to find the right one. However buy next summer we would like to be on the road if possible. It a huge undertaking and happy to have found a forum to get answers from people without a salesman's agenda. thanks JD & Linda

Welcome JD,

I am a HUGE fan of the Adirondacks having been born/raised in Rochester NY. I have spent a lot of time in the Adirondacks.

We spent the summer of 2011 Workamping at a private estate situated on Rainbow Lake just outside of Saranac Lake. One of the very best Workamping experiences that we have EVER had so far.

We plan to return from the west side of the country in the fall of 2015 once we have spent the summer once again in Alaska with my sons and grandchildren.

There is another discussion forum called Monacoers Yahoo Group where coach owners of a specific family are welcome to join. You will find additional answers to your questions that specifically address the following coaches, Monaco, Holiday Rambler, Beaver and Safari.

Here is the link.

Enjoy the ride and safe travels.
