Newbie from the land of Oz
Just joined the forum today. I imported a Tiffin Breeze 32BR to Australia and have had it converted to right hand drive. The is no Tiffin support industry here in Australia (not even an agent) so I am looking forward to getting some good advice from all you USA RVers.

I'm curious how you are coping or dealing/delt with the differences in the 240v 50hz power there vs the 120v 60hz power that the coach was built for. I also understand the propane standards/connections in Oz are much different.
We've had a few Aussies and NZers here that have been doing some struggling after importing a U.S. coach there.

During the conversion i had installed a separate 240 volt circuit with six outlets. In addition, we retained the existing 120 volt outlets which are fed by a 2000watt inverter, the Onan generator or thu 240 volt shorepower routed through a thumping great 240 volt to 120 volt transformer. As for Hz, i find that most electrics run happily on either 50 or 60 Hz, except for the microwave. The problem could be addressed by fitting a rectifier, but it is expensive.
Yes, propane standards are different. We had to replace the existing lines with copper pipe, have the propane appliances certified as meeting Australian standards, plus replace the existing propane tank with two 20 pound bottles.

50Hz Vs 60Hz
All of your 60Hz appliances will run at 80 % efficiency and the life of the product will be greatly reduced. The type of appliances that will be effected are Microwave, AC, Air bed pumps, charging units.
Don't kid yourself in thinking just because they seem to work, there'll be fine. They won't.
There is a reason appliances have a label on saying 120v 60Hz !
There is however now a solution that will solve your problem but you will need to send me a private message as the forum rules forbid advertising.
