Newbie from TN
Hello all,
I’m Gavin from TN. A few months ago I decided to buy a new 22ft bumper pull because I switched careers that now requires travel/being away from home. I’ve really enjoyed living in it so far but I can tell the mattress wasn’t made to be slept on every night.
I’m going to try to find the appropriate spot to post my question about mattress replacement.

Welcome and Merry Christmas! Maybe go to RV Systems and Technologies and see if that might be the right place to post. I would measure your mattress and measure how deep of a mattress you can use, be careful if it needs to slide under anything if it's in a slide.

Thanks and Merry Christmas to you as well. I already posted in Travel trailer discussion. The mattress is a normal queen size with no restrictions as far as slides are concerned. I think headroom would start to become an issue past 10-11 inches in depth because of overhead storage cabinets.

There is an RV dealer in Lebanon if you are in Middle TN, out toward Cedars of Lebanon State Park I believe. They specialize in custom made mattresses for RV's. A friend of mine just purchased one from them and he loves it. It was manufactured in Gainesboro if that helps.
Merry Christmas & welcome to IRV2!!!

Since you have a standard 60”x80” Queen then you have lots of options. Stay away from RV dealers as the only thing they have to offer is a higher price.
We also have a standard queen and used a regular innerspring mattress with a 3” memory foam topper. It was very comfortable and we used the combo for about 10 years of full timing. We recently up graded to a full memory foam mattress and it’s very comfortable also.
