Newbie from Wa State now a Georgia resident
Hi everyone my name is Rudy Zamora and my family and I are new owners of a older travel trailer. We discovered some water damage and rot as our travels brought us to south east Georgia. I was just wondering if anyone knew if it was easier to remove said damage from the inside or take off the siding and attack it from there? I'm sure others have encountered this problem before me so I was wondering if I can do it myself as I am pretty handy or if I should take it to a repair shop. Thank you for your help

Welcome, what you are describing is a serious issue and most likely expensive as shop cost vary from $95.00 plus hourly. Best to find a repair dealer/ repair specialist to give you an evaluation. The cost to repair May be more than the TT is valued at. Best of luck.

Hi Rudy and welcome! I don't know anything about repairing water damage, but there are lots of previous threads you may find with the search function. There are several threads about repair/remodels in the Vintage Owners' Section of the board. Good luck to you.

Welcome and glad to meet you!
It appears it's not just water damage, there may be mold involved as well. Be very careful. I have to second the opinion that repairs maybe more than it's worth. Good Luck!
