Smile Newbie in Delta BC! Dreaming of living full time in an Outdoors RV.

Hi everybody.
I'm new here and new to RVing. I haven't even tried it yet. But I can't stop thinking about it so I'm taking steps to make it a reality.

I have already decided on the RV I'd like. The Outdoors RV Creek Side models, either the 21RD or the 21RBS. Or whatever small model I can get for a good price.

I'm looking for people in my area who can show me around and give me good ideas on starting out. You know, things you wish you had known before you went out on your own full time.

Currently I'm looking for a new-to-me vehicle that will tow so I can start practicing my driving while towing skills. There is an Outdoors RV on Outdoorsy in Squamish I'd like to rent at least once, maybe two or three times, before the weather turns wild again...before October... and then go out again sometime in January when I have a little experience.

Does this sound like a good plan or is it completely nuts? I know I'm missing some things. Please help, with kindness and compassion.

Many thanks,
Sarah

From just up the coast .

Renting for someone who's never RVed is the best idea , it's a fantastic lifestyle , but not for everyone.
Caution about full time RV living , if you plan to visit the USA , depending on the US Border official , you can be denied entry , because they feel you would have no reason to return to Canada , if all your worldly goods are traveling with you.
Read up on the US IRS Form # 8840 . Under Tax Forums.
You can read up on the form at the Canadian Snowbird Ass. web site.
Maintaining a closer connection to Canada.

Can't beat what Skip offered. Understand the lifestyle, learn the implications of the path you are going to follow, have a contingency plan for emergencies, and get after it.

Analysis paralysis hold many of us back until life forces a path on us.

Welcome and enjoy.
