Frank
My wife and I just purchased a new TV and 5er two weeks ago. It was very stressful especially picking it up and driving from the dealership. We stayed close to the dealership the first night and returned the next morning to have them winterize. I then drove it 120 miles to storage. Only one minor embarrassing problem on the trip.

I pulled into a gas station to get drinks and it was really crowded. I decided to drive out by taking a sharp left then right. During the sharp left turn the brake-away cable drooped down and was caught below the hitch. When I made the right turn it released the pin from the trailer locking the trailer brakes. Took me 15 minutes to figure out how to get the pin back into the hole. I only blocked traffic fifteen minutes so it could have been worse.

So my limited experience can be of value to you I hope.

Terry
