Newbie in Va
Hi Everyone, my husband and I just bought a 2008 Coachman freelander 3150ss, with only 2200 miles on it, and are going to be fulltimers in about 2-3 months (hence the bailinout username). We are really excited, but nervous at the same time, since we've only done short rving stints in the past. There is so much to learn, thank goodness for all of you folks on these forums you are just a wealth of information . I have been scouring all of the forums and this one is at the top of my list of go-to sites. We love the freelander, haven't actually gotten it home yet, we looked at what seems like 5000 Rvs and this one totally fit the bill. Good price, low mile, like new condition and nice floorplan. When we were looking there were some things I didnt want to compromise on, but as I quickly realized nothing was exactly perfect and still in our price range. So compromise I did. My compromise was the bedroom, not as much storage as I would like, BUT the living area layout is exactly what I wanted. So now we are in the process of getting rid of almost everything and I have to say it has been absolutely liberating. We cant wait to get on the road, our first stop is going to be Delaware to spend some time with our daughter and grandkids then our next stop is ???? we'll decide when the time comes. Maybe we'll see some of you somtime

Hi bailinout! We were in your shoes not that long ago. Little over a year in fact. I love the fact that if we are not happy where we are, our house has wheels. Just lift the jacks and move on. I so hope you enjoy your time on the road as well as your time here. This site is where I go when we have a problem or question. The good folks here have helped every time. Enjoy your travels and be safe.
