Newbie Introduction
Hi. My wife and I are new IRV2 members. We have owned 3 travel trailers in the 4 years and a ton of other camping gear from wilderness adventures. So we are not quite RV newbies. We are investigating whether to go full time once we both retire.
Our current rig is a new 20 ft. Jayco Jay Feather X213 with a rear slide out king-sized bed we hope to take to Alaska once we have the kinks worked out and it's customized to our liking. I am interested in the pros & cons of full timing, tow vehicles, trailer aerodynamics, boondocking and rough road travel, cold weather rigging, RV solar/inverter and/or generator to name a few topics.
I look forward to learning from more experienced travelers and perhaps sharing some things I have picked up.
