Newbie. Preparing for retirement.

Well we’ve decided to partake of the fruits of our labor. When the kids were young we purchased a bumper pull camper and joined a resort club thinking one day we may want to travel. That time is finally here. Kids are gone with families of their own and I plan to retire very soon. We have purchased a used 2004 Itasca Meridian 39K that has been well serviced and has always been garaged. Third party inspector says unit is in excellent condition. I plan to update the televisions and have the carpet removed and hardwood flooring installed (pre wife’s request). I’m here to learn from you guys about any RVing do’s and don’ts. Thanks for taking time to read my post. God Bless.

Welcome to owning an RV and the lifestyle.
Your credit card bills will now be bigger than ever and your bank account will dwindle faster than you've witnessed in the past.
You won't need a hobby because being on the road and maintaining /upgrading your rig will now consume a bunch of your time.
But you know what, there is no life like it. I love it.
