Hello...we are newbies...in search of the perfect class A for full-timing. We are planning to retire in 2 years and have decided that we would like to hit the road before we settle down. We are planning for 10 years and are very excited.

We are searching for a class A that feels like home. we have fallen in love with the floor plan of the new Thor Challenger 37KT. We really like the separation of the rooms, creating separate "zones" for those times when we need our own space. the problem...we can't find that floor plan in anything larger and are really hoping for a 40'.

We also like the floor plan of the Gulf Stream Sun Voyager 8389.

Does any know of any others with similar/same floor plans? good/bad points about either of these? We have budgeted no more than $85K so this restricts our choices as well.

Please, any advice is welcome. first time RV owners with a lot to learn. We are taking our time and researching well.

Hello from a fellow newbie over here in the UK.

We have also been looking for our first coach for a while but found her last weekend. She is a 2006 Four Winds Hurricane 30Q, no slides but ideal for two

Tried a 30' Class A with no slides and found that after 2-3 weeks, we were running into each other at the tight point around galley, dinette, and bathroom. Decided that we would find that to difficult to continue with, we replaced with one 5 feet longer with a large living room slide and a good size bedroom slide which actually gives you a change room when needed. Much happier with the extra space.

A little out of your pricepoint but the American Revalution 38s has the floor plan you described.

from NH. Check out the classified section, perhaps your dream coach is there. Fleetwood Bounder 35E has a great floor plan, with the two slides and being a bath and a half, plenty of room for a full timing unit. Good luck with your search.

Hi folks! Welcome to IRV2! It's great to have you join the gang!

I don't have any opinions since I don't know anything about the rigs you mentioned.

I would suggest that you will have much better results if you post questions over in the specific areas of the forum. Not many folks hang out here in the Welcome area so your responses will be limited. The Class A area would be a good place to start. Hope you find the perfect rig for your needs!
