Hi, folks. Though we've camped in tents, pop-up trailers and a pick-up slide-in over the years, we have now become "real" RV-ers by purchasing a small Motor Home.

Linda and I live near Portland, Oregon and are both near retirement. We have adult children living in the midwest and northeast, so we like the idea of taking a bedroom with us. We also have two mini Doxies that we'd like to take with us instead of leaving them in a kennel.

We just recently purchased a 23.5' Lazy Daze which is built on a Ford E-450 chassis with the V-10 engine. Powerful enough for a toad, but so far we think we'll try to get around without one. We've found it very easy to get in and out of places with the MH.

We've learned a lot from visiting this site, and we expect to learn even more from all of you!

Richard, welcome to iRV2.

In our eyes you have been a real RVer since you got the pop-up.

Welcome Richard Clark to irv2.
You maybe one of a few on this forum with a Lazy Daze we never took a count but we do have a FORD CHASSIS FORUM for that part of your nice coach plus a Class C Forum.
Enjoy the forums and do post often.

Thanks for the "welcome" people! I had noticed the Class C forum, 007, but not the Ford Chassis one, so thanks for pointing that out!

Congrats on your rig and Welcome to this great forum! I, like many others here, feel this is the best RV forum on the web...there is virtually no bickering back and forth, the members here are always willing to help, and the tips you can find here are wonderful!
I am south a couple of hours from you...so I know just howmany great parks you will be able to take off and see. You can always go to this link to check out (or even add to it)campground reviews!
