Newbie to FT

Hi! Everyone
My husband and I are looking forward to retiring in 2021. We are planning to go FT in a class A or C. We are in the process of doing research. So much info out there. We want to find a used rig. I lived FT in an RV in my 20's (many moons ago) and really enjoyed it. My husband and I also had a stationery RV for many years that was seasonal. We are really looking forward to this adventure. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you for allowing me to join.

Welcome Dee and exactly how did you manage to retire at 29? Inquiring minds want to know. But seriously I guess the first thing you need to do is to figure out what kind of a coach you want. In my particular case I chose a Super C for at least a couple of reasons. The first is safety. Class A motor homes don't have much structure above or in front of the driver's and passenger's seats. I know I'm not supposed to get in wrecks but that stuff happens some times. The second reason I chose a Super C is it has a diesel engine that can pull my pickup with a motorcycle in the bed. While many class A's can do that the gas powered class C's cannot. The third reason for the super C is the ease of service, either by me or someone else. Since a super C is simply a delivery truck with a house on the back of it instead of an empty box there are lots of places that are familiar with them. Not so much with a class A. Just some things to think about. Have fun shopping and more importantly, have fun traveling.
