Newbie to RVing

Just had our first trip with the new RV ( KZ Connect 312RKK) loved it. No major concerns. My husband and I are recently retired and loving it. Planning second trip to Mount Elgin,ON. ( close to where we live) in August. We are planning a long distance trip in November out west to see our daughter in California. On our way back from California, in early January, we are planning to go from Simi Valley, California to Parumph, NV. Wondering if anyone has any thoughts on what road to take and what kind of weather conditions we might encounter?

Welcome to iRV2.

From the west coast.
Late December and January are the worst weather in NV and California .
The passes , will have snow and bad weather, even those way south ; CA 58 and I-10 will be questionable . Any way to delay your trip home to late February ?
BTW: I've Snowbirded in Southern California for the past 10 years and seen all kinds of bad weather on our trips back to Canada to reset travel medical.
You probably will have major travel issues the closer you get to home , you know what Ontario winters are like.
