Newbie with a Classic in Georgia

We are new RV owners with an 'oldie but goodie' 1997 Newmar Dutch Star 3658 that we have named "The Dixie Cup" (or just "The Cup") because of its color. We look forward to learning a lot from the members of this community!

The Cup is completely original with about 17,300 miles. The previous owner replaced a lot of the stuff you'd expect to deteriorate with lack of use. You can see a few pics here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/n2zB7mWuWm5KJDfV6

Welcome to iRV2. and the Newmar family.

Because ; back in the day ; Newmar used the Dutch Star name on motor homes built on both gas and diesel pusher chassis , adding your chassis information to any posts when you're asking questions is important .

I'm guessing from the steering wheel in one of your photos that " The Cup " is built on a Ford chassis.

Safe travels .

Thanks for the advice. Yes, it is gas on a Ford chassis. We are having the various systems serviced and fixing minor issues, such as the retractable steps not working. Also, the rear end seems to be riding a bit lower than we we got it. Might be my imagination but we are having it checked this week.
