Newbie with a project
Hiya!
My folks enjoyed many a year traveling the four corners of our beautiful countryside. Their passion rubbed off on me over the years and now their 93 Tioga sits in my backyard in need of an overhaul. Pray for my wife as she patiently waits for my sanity to return and the vehicle to disappear! I'm going to give it my best, but I'm finding that it may be beyond me to finish her. Between the leaky roof, rot and 125K miles on the chassis I may have to put 'er down... Hope not!

Welcome to iRV2
Roof leaks and rot can be a nightmare to repair. If you have the skills to take these projects on it may make sense. If you have to pay to have it done you will most likely be feeding oats to a dying horse.
There is a Vintage Owners forum where you might want to start asking questions. You may get a new insight there.
Best of luck and let us know how we can help you.

Welcome, I think to IRV2,
First, we can not all be RV'ers or this may not be the right time. Before you go another step, the most important relationship is between you and your wife. If you can not both see the vision together there is no vision or at beat a hard uphill road at best. Sell it to someone who has money to invest in it. Buy your wife some flowers and thank her for her wisdom to see what you were unable to see for now. Wait until you can buy an RV, that will get you from point to point without costly repairs. Keep the dream alive and don't kill it with a BAD start in BAD COSTLY RV ISSUES. STOP and move on for now.

Thanks for the encouragement and sound wisdom! We can’t get on the road soon enough, but, as you’ve said, it may not be the time.

Before you jump in to what might be a money pit, check out your options in terms of a newer RV. It doesn't have to be very new. I think you'll find a lot of improvements between 1993 and the even the early 2000s.
The leaks and the 125k would concern me, not to mention that it looks like it's been sitting for years.
