Newbies also

Hi RV'rs,
My wife and I have a 26' Skyline Nomad and have traveled to Pre-season baseball in AZ for the past couple of years. We have also taken trips to the Oregon coast, the Sierras and lots of trips to the Newport Beach area to visit our grands. We are ready to step up to a class A and have been looking at the Allegro Open Road (gas). Ione of the reasons I joined irv2 was to learn all I can about the Allegro or something similar before buying.

Welcome

Welcome to IRV2. You will learn a lot from this website, I know that I have. The owners forums allow you to research different brands.

Newmar makes similar gas coaches in the same class as the Allegro(Tiffin). We have a BayStar 3002 and are very happy with it. There's also a lower featured Bay Star Sport and an a higher end Canyon Star.

If you get a chance, take the factory tours that are available for the coaches that you are interested in.

Tiffins has a very good reputation also.

Regards, Jerry
