Newbies Checking In
Hello Everyone,
We are glad and privileged to be here in the forum. We are also newbies to RVing as well.
We just purchased a 2008 Winnebago Destination 39W, and we're looking forward to a few short test runs.
I'm from Virginia, and my partner is from California. Currently we are based in Virgina ( Richmond Metro area ), and are excited and ready to begin our new journey. I'm a disabled Vietnam Veteran, she, a retired RN. We have been doing a lot of research and searching for the last 8 months, and the moment is now upon us. For me, it's a little scary, I like stability and I'm sure we will both make the transition as smooth as possible.
But, I have to admit, I need advice and anything else that can be offered to 2 newbies, who just can't keep still.......Thanks for any input from the community.

Glad to have you here with us.
Make a checklist of all the things you need to do when you set up camp and another one for when you break camp. Take good notes when you are doing your delivery inspection. (It's amazing how quickly we forget how to do something.)
Good luck in your decision and Happy Trails!!!!!
