Newbies in Oklahoma

Bob and Nancy here in Broken Arrow, Ok. Getting ready to retire 10/10/10...JUST 30 DAYS IF WE'RE COUNTING.
Just bought a new Forest River Salem LA 29FKDS that we will pull with our Ford Expedition. The trailer gets picked up this Saturday and first trip end of Sept.
Interested if any other folks have any feedback about our rig combo.

Bob and Nancy, we lived in Chouteau for a while and had started an Oklahoma Boomers group up there and it kind of went away a while after we moved back to Houston. Some of the folks still frequent the forum.

As for the rig, I think you will be looking for a 3/4 ton truck before long. The Expy will pull the trailer, but it would do a lot better with a longer and heavier truck. Do not expect to win any races or pass up too many filling stations.

Ken
