newby from SD
Hello, just joined. I pull an 01 cardinal with an F250. We just moved up to the fifth wheel after selling our trailer last year. I leave the rig sit more than not but with two kids at home yet we enjoy going when we can. I need to set up the truck yet but the fiver pulled very nice for the 500 miles last summer to get it home. I like these forums. We have 3 atv's and the forums have been very helpful.

Hey Cardinal !!
Hi from our winter camp here in Florida. We're out of Parkston !! Wife has a sister in Platte and family in Milltown, Mitchell, Tripp, etc. Nice to see another South Dakotan on board. We'll be back in Parkston when the temps climb a little (April/May).
Welcome to the iRV2 gang.

Thanks everyone for the welcome!
I was on my phone before but now have a keyboard. Looks like a great bunch of RVers! We have been camping for years and won't quit anytime soon. I wanted to share with Chicadee that we are 25 miles from Platte and about 70 from Parkston in Kimball. Sure is a small world

Cardinal:
Yup, we've been through Kimball a number of times. Sounds like ya got a little snow up there yesterday (Tues.). We're lookin forward to gettin home to hear the meadowlarks singing in the mornings. We also look forward to Fathers Day as thats when the whole famdamly gets together for the annual Rendevous at the river. Everybody shows up and camps for a few days usually over at Buryanek park. With all the kids and the dogs, and the bunch, it's kinda like those old annual get togethers in years gone by when the mountain men (trappers) all gathered out west every spring to whoop it up. If the Missouri isn't flooding, it's a GREAT time.......actually, even if it IS flooding, it's a GREAT experience for our gang.
Hope to meet ya some time.
Steve & Lynette
