Hi Everyone,
Great website! I have been lurking here for a few weeks reading posts and gathering information. I plan to retire (again) within the next 12 months and want to travel the US. Wife will retire in 2016. I want to buy and RV and see the country. We have traveled all over the world so its time to travel all over our beautiful country! I have an RV reserved for the 4th of July weekend and have also secured a full-hookup spot in a NC state park. Looking forward to our first RV adventure!

WELCOME great forum here...
Wife and I both retired about 6 weeks ago we bought our new to us MH last November.
Love to get up to the NC and TN mountains and ride motorcycle it was a deciding factor in purchasing MH.

Thanks pop-sicle and congrats on the retirement(s). I'm constantly online looking at RV's and have been in a few at some dealerships. I'm like a kid in a candy store. So many flavors. What drew you to your Coachmen Mirada?

Welcome to iRV2, Swoop! Y'all have the same plan and same timetable as we have. We bought our MH in October, 2014, after looking for several months, and have enjoyed several trips in it. It's been great!!!
Hope your first RV adventure is lots of fun and problem-free. If you've never RVd, you're in for something special. It's definitely not for everyone and there is work involved; but to us it beats the heck out of cookie cutter hotel chains for many reasons.
Be sure and post a report of your first adventure ... and pictures! In my group of RV friends "Pics or it never happened!"

Price was big deciding factor our budget was small but we found the right for us MH.
Older but in great shape, only $13,0000 and paid for before retired so no bills.
