No RV Yet

Just joined iRV2. We don't own an RV at the moment, nor do we have experience as prior owners. However, we have friends/family with 5th wheels, Class As, and towed campers. We are considering the purchase of a new Thor ACE 30.1 MH and flat-towing a Ford Fusion.

All you need here is having an interest, you'll learn a lot just by reading in fact you'll find answers to questions you would not even have thought to ask. It worked that way for me.

Welcome Joe and Kelly !!

Enjoy the hunt for a worthy RV. Don't rule out previously owned units from your hunt. If you are somewhat handy and willing to do a bit of interior upgrading, the used market is a great place to search.

Howdy Joe and Kelly

Welcome to IRV2! Definitely don,t rule out used units. There are plenty of great units with low miles just waiting for new owners. We were convinced we were going to purchase new but looked at used units to get an idea of the features we wanted. We wound up getting an 08' Winnebago Journey with 11000 miles that was pampered and beautifully maintained an saved a bundle over what we would have spent and we are thrilled! All the bugs are worked out and all we have to do is enjoy.

Joe & Kelly....... from Georgia. You will, as before mentioned, find answers to questions you never thought of here. Everyone on here started somewhere with some type of camping equipement. Also as mentioned, you may find exactly what your looking for from an individual, which will certanily be less than a dealer. Look @ as many as possible, and don't forget to test drive and check all the features and make sure they work, repairs can be costly. Jump in anytime, and good luck.
