No RVs...as of yet
OK, it might be a while. My wife and I are looking to get either a TT or a 5th wheel in the future (not sure when) and I'm starting my research as far in advance as possible.
In the past (15-20 yrs ago) I have owned 3 different travel trailers and a pop-up, none of which were larger than 23 ft. I will be looking at somewhat larger units as I make my decision.
We are Michigan folks who will be traveling/camping/etc for 2-4 months through the winter, starting in a year or two. Currently we're leaning toward a fifth wheel but have made no decision as of yet with a few things that will influence that decision being: tow vehicle (including cost over time), ease of use, reliability of both units (TV and RV), advantages/disadvantages of either type of RV, etc. Basically just looking to learn as much as possible.
Looking forward to this.

Howdy and welcome aboard fellow Michigander. Glad you joined us. I'm sure you'll pick up plenty of info here. Good luck in shopping for your next unit and hope you enjoy all your future adventures. C'mon down to FL, that's where we spend 5 months for the winter.

To the family.
As far as tt or 5er, I think what you are willing to spend to get what you feel fits your needs and at what quality point both TV and RV.

Hi folks! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the bunch!
Hope you find the perfect RV for your needs! I recommend the 5th wheel. We pulled a 5er for 10 years before getting the MH. We loved it!
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
