Noob to the RV thing

Hello all,
My wife and I are going to be new to this thing they call RV'ing. We originally started thinking about doing a RV as a way for us to take our off road toys (ATV's and SXS) and know what our accommodations will be when we get there. But now were also thinking about the potential of other small trips as friend that we know have campers that want us to go with them and others that want us to meet them as they live in other states and they RV. We have looked at many set ups and think were very close to buying a 2004 Damon Challenger with 14K miles. We had the dealer take it to a RV service shop the wife and I picked and were paying them to go through it top to bottom before we make a final decision. I know there a plusses and minuses to every brand but this one had the set up we needed in the price we wanted. We hope it checks out cause now that we decided to do this we really want to get it and try it out. We hope it fits the bill for what we want to do.

You'll love it. The best (without spending an arm and a leg) however, is the Tiffin Allegro (any of their models). Check them out. I have yet to hear ANY negative.

Funny enough they had one and it's a nice coach. However the floor plan wasn't even close to what we need at the moment. We're also looking at sleeping ability as we want the kids that are gown or the grandkids that will disown us if we go 4 wheeling without them to be able to come. And the Damon accommodated that. Thanks all for the replies.
