Not how it was planned

The plan, buy the 5th wheel now and retire in18 months. Found the 5vr and put a deposit on it 2 weeks ago. 8 days ago the DW has a doctor's appointment and it didn't go well. Yesterday she had surgery that was very invasive and they used the C word. Today...not sure what the plans are.

Hospitals have free wifi.Best thing I can say

My late DW died in August of a rare complication of a liver transplant . She had liver cancer and the cure caused her death. The last 10 years has not gone the way we planned either.
Take it one day at a time and prayers for a good outcome.

Sorry for bad initial results. Not to compare but we have been through similar; hopefully early detection and advanced medical research help her condition. Our hopes and prayers are with you both!

Sorry to hear the bad "C" news. Don;t do anything drastic yet at this time. You might still be able to travel and you and your wife fully enjoy seeing the USA together. Right now things are so confusing that trying to make any decision isn't advisable.

Best of luck to you both. Is a difficult time for many, but a smile and spirit of optimism can work wonders every day.

Prayers and hope for you and her a day at a time. :-)

Prayers for both of you

I have had cancer four times and am doing well after chemotherapy and several surgeries. As others have said great advances in medical treatment are now available. You will probably benefit from a consultation with an Oncologist. Surround your self with prayers and supportive friends and family.

Sorry to hear this as well.. However I do have a bit of news... Now part of this comes from the fact that I am "Dating" (Well, sort of, but not really) a young lady (Ok so she qualifies for Social Security) here in S.E. Ga who is a Cancer Survivor.. and part of it comes from other research.. But....

Many cancers that not all that long ago were "Make your final arrangements" are now... Easily cured.. In fact she was advised by here doctors to make said arrangements... Then as she was LITERALLY calling funeral parlors to see who had the best deal.. One doctor came in and said "Uh, there is a new experimental treatment"... She has been Cancer Free for six years.

Political comments not posted (And yes there are some).

In addition there is a lot of evidence to suggest that the "Other" (non THC) component of Marijuana is a cancer killer for many types of cancer.. Sadly the FDA will not support that, even if the research does.

I do a lot of medical research

You need to google the "Combined Health Information Database" and then you can do your own research there.. I can tell you listening to the Government, and what the FDA approves, or disapproves, then going to CHID and doing my own research......

Well.. Saved my life (Different problem).
