Old Rolling Palace

Hi all,

My husband just had to have an RV because of the isolation from the pandemic but we couldn't really afford one. So...we bought a 1989 Fleetwood Jamboree C class. It's lovely inside but as you can imagine it needs a lot of maintenance. We took it on a nice 9 day trek last fall with no water (winterized) so we stayed in RV Parks that had facilities. We are looking forward to our first trip with the water turned on and hope to do that any day now. We have a makeshift step stool to get in and out because the ladder is shot. We have two small doggies that travel with us. We have a leak in the front above the cab but we haven't used that section for anything except some storage. Unfortunately, using flex seal on the seams on the roof didn't work for us. But there has been rain so maybe it didn't have time to cure. Steering is a little loose for my taste so we need to get that fixed. I love the giant windows everywhere which makes for a great scenic ride. Nice to be here!
