Talking Our new 2015 Outlaw!

Hi guys! We just picked up our 2015 THOR OUTLAW “JESSE” – Yep, we’ve named her after Jesse James, the outlaw. We picked her up in Woodstock/Atlanta, GA, Friday afternoon. She’s BEE-U-Ti-FUL!! Now I know why you guys love yours so much. Now, for the 2015 differences – (you’re gonna hate this ) They have added a THIRD awning over the party deck!!!! They also upgraded ALL the lights to LED and they added a row of LED lights to the two side awnings so no messing around with Christmas tree lights – HA HA HAAAA! There is also a new “rapid camp remote control” that you can use from 50 feet away to lower the levelers, extend the awnings, start the gennie, extend the slides, and I forget what else. Haven’t played too much with everything yet. Yesterday was my birthday, so HAPPY B-DAY TO ME!!! Just wanted to pop in and let you know we are officially fellow Outlaw’ers – and to make you jealous of the new awning and lights.

Safe travels and hope to meet some day. I’ll send some pix when I get a chance. (And I just realized I need to change my signature to "Ownership date - April 18th, 2014")

And the Outlaw life.

Jessie...like it!

The rapid remote thingie has me and the Mrs. wondering...why or when would you be 50' away during set-up?

We never drop the jacks without running the engine (we're inside)...'cuz it's required by the mfgt so that big 'ol pump can get all the juice possible and typically it runs off the chassis battery which is charged by the engine alternator...but maybe they changed that.

And, for the slide(s), we are always inside before extending the slides to avoid any risk of contact with interior pieces and parts. What about a slide-lock...did they stop issueing "transit bars" to keep the slide(s) closed tight during transit?

I LOVE the awning over the garage!! Saw it on the Class Super C Outlaw and I want one.
Shouldn't be too hard to copy....we'll see.

Please take photos and share. The 37MD looks really nice!

Safe travels

I was wondering about the transit bars too. Haven't found any on board and during orientation, the tech didn't mention anything about them... hum... Going to post some pix of the patio and side awnings. Oh, and the remote thingie I guess lets you look cool while setting up camp! Tech mentioned it's nice to have to watch the slides and make sure they clear where you're deploying them and to watch the landing gear - true, the engine should be running. My husband stays in, and I go out and do a walkaround. I guess they made the distance up to 50' cause of how big the rig is? No idea.

These are especially nice - you can rotate the awning end cap to move the LED'S pointing out, down or in your eyes (toward the coach).
