Pat from North Carolina

Hi all,

We are Pat and AJ and little Leela from Raleigh North Carolina. We are planning to get a 1 ton van and a travel trailer to hit the road hopefully soon.

In the process of buying both.... This lots of questions.

Cheers and talk to you at the forum

Lots of knowledgeable folks here. Along with a smattering of curmudgeons!

Learn about truck/van loading and towing capacities before you buy will make your life easier in the long run! I was lucky in my ignorance when I first started 5 years ago.

Study the towing and loading terms ANd you will know more than the sale staff of the RV and vehicles.

Woow that is nice. We don't know anyone around here who is also an RVer. Thanks for sharing that you live close by.

We are new to this and still have a bit a mental block regarding towing, backing up and its challenges before we pull the trigger to buy vehicle and camper.

already :-) did tons of research. I clearly know towing capacities better than the car dealer ships. :')
