Paul & Susan - New to RVing

Hi all,
I'm Dr. Paul and Susan is my wife. We're looking at retirement, working part time now, stepping into this new world. I'm an adjunct Professor of Religion and Theology at Saint Leo University. Susan is an RN, working PRN (part time) in Employee Health for an Adventist Hospital in Central Florida.

We started looking at RVs because we wanted an easy way to escape hurricanes with our pets, Neko (Palmerian) and Hamish our cat. So, we started looking. We knew we didn't want to tow a home so we were looking at A's and C's. The only drawback was that my wife "didn't want to drive her home to Walmart." Nonetheless, the search went on.

Sitting at breakfast with a friend, I mentioned our search and he told me he had a 1998 Odessa Overland Laredo at half the price I've seen on line. So, now we are the proud owners of this fine machine with only 50K miles, new tires and soon to be serviced for the road.

I've already taken advantage of the knowledge of my fellow RVers. There is truly a wealth of information here.

Paul & Susan
