Planning our Retirement
My lovely wife of (42 yrs.) and I have set a "new" goal to purchase a 2017 42' Phaeton.
We have been RV enthusiast, and have had many RVs throughout our marriage.
Including: 2 motorhomes, 2 travel trailers, and 1 fifth wheel.
Our current motorhome is a 2007 Winnebago View class C 23', that we purchased new in 2007.
Our 2 children are grown and we have four grandchildren, and it is time for us to start enjoying our senior years.
We have a beautiful home north of the "Detroit" metropolitan area, Which we will be putting on the market in the year 2016.
We have joined this forum to help do follow up and reviews on the Phaeton motor coach.
Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you

Thank you for the response to our first post.
Fortunately throughout the years we have been able to travel the US and Canada.
I was forced into retirement in 2008 due to an industrial accident, and I am patiently waiting for my wife to finish her career.
As I had stated in the original post we have had many RVs throughout the years, however we have decided it is due time to start our planning for her retirement in our future.

I retired in 2012 and we are traveling 4-5 months a year. Six weeks after I retired we started our first trip to Alaska from NY. We planed it for 5 years and traveled on our own. We continue to travel each year. This has been great to avoid the winter weather in NY. Especially this year!
One of the first things we did was start a blog of our trips. I has been a great investment of time. It has allowed our relatives and friends to keep in touch and has proven to be great remembrance of our trips. I would suggest you look into a blog.
Our blog is: RVGR8escape
We are currently on a South West Tour and post when we have good Wifi.
Safe travels and THE JOY IS IN THE RIDE
