Pleased to be here

Hello
I have recently read a post somewhere in this forum about underbelly overhaul.... Well at time of reading I was about half way through a similar “mod”.
My wife and I recently bought a jayco eagle HT 324bhts.
We ski as a family, and don’t have much faith in heated enclosed underbelly. We would like to have running water when it’s 20f and snowing...
So the underbelly overhaul begins.
4tank heaters installed
Planning R16 in every place I can fit it
Coroplast replaced for FRP
Foam board on cold side of frame
Wireless Temp units in under belly to monitor
Reroute and insulate suction line
Pass through vents installed around waterpump bay...
Tent and awning shop made skirting that can be deployed in short fashion.
Tidy up electrical and plumbing as I close up the underbelly.
Goal is to be able to park in snow bank and enjoy the winter. Time will tell...
glad to be here.

Sounds like a big re-haul! I'm curious how it all turns out and total price for that kind of work. I love the idea of wireless temp units. I think any skier would want a rig like this - I'm just going to wait for spring time to bring my Nash 23d to the mtn.

Sounds like you have a good start on getting it prepped for cold weather. Best of luck with it.

Happy Trails!

We just go set up prior to snow rolling in next few days. 30F when we arrived. T warmed up quick to 70f. Underbelly 43f, inside skirting 36f, outside 29f.
I have added 1.5 rools of r16, new FRP underbelly, installed tank heaters, almost of 2 sheets of 2inch foam board...
Here we go.
