Greetings from Alan and Carolyn. We have a 2005 22’ Airstream trailer (the old one with 2 axles). We have owned this for 10 years and have covered about 50,000 miles in it around the USA and Canada.
We tow this with a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Eco Diesel getting about 18mpg while towing with a range close to 400 miles. The Jeep has over 150K miles on it but is still going strong. When it dies, we are at a loss to know how to replace it without getting a pickup.
