Prolite Evasion

Hello everyone, I purchased my wee great trailer in Sept 2019 and live in it full time.
This is a great little trailer, well made with some nice appliances and good storage.
I am beginning a new life on the road as i just retired and now in the USA, snowbird from Canada.

If anyone has any questions about this great little package please ask.

I have a question, first off is their anyone out their that owns the same model, mine is a 2015.

I live this trailer and lov ed living in it, I know they most likely were not made to be but if always in dry weather why not. Plus they, manufacturers have undecorated it beautifully. Although now a 2015, I will spray the parts of the frame showing signs of need before returning home.

Question, living off grid I need to fill, or like to have water in the water tank to wash dishes etc, but not drink as I have other means for that.
The design of the placement of the tank is the filling hose is on the regular side as tank openings are but filling it manually has been difficult. An air pocket at the water tank connection occurs and forces the water back out onto th he ground. The air flow hose to provide a vapour draw runs the same length of the filling hose to outside. This seems like a long distance for air to travel to assist with a smooth flow. Plus I think the filling vinyl hose they have put in is too flexible and sags so water has to flow upward but then flows back out instead.
My work around has been to insert a stronger smaller diameter hose that does not have much flexibility and can enter the smaller hole that actually is the entry hole if tank for water flow. This works but quite a process and time function.
I usually only need 5 gallons of water for a week off grid. However, just looking for any ideas on this.

The manufacturers appear to have glued a 1 1/14 " entry opening over a 1/2" opening on the tank itself, thus a 11/4" or slight bigger vinyl hose is needed. The design is quite odd and perhaps they never tested how water would flow if manually fed.

Ideas, thoughs.
