Proud Ohio New RV Owner
Yesterday Nancy & Bob purchased a brand new Thor 29X RV. We welcome any suggestions as we get ready to provision for our first long weekend trip. We have dogs that will be traveling with us so suggestions about over-night stays are also welcome
Thanks
Bob & Nancy

Howdy and welcome aboard. Traveling with your dogs shouldn't be a problem. Just make sure the campground you visit is pet friendly. Most have a leash requirement and a dog walk area along with possible some other requirements at times. Good luck and have a great time.

Congratulations!
We travel with two dogs. Be sure to have up to date vaccination records in your coach. We have been asked for records only twice, but you never know when you will need them. Also, tick removal device from petsmart, disinfectant and grooming devices in case they get into burrs. Poop bags are a must...the ones that hook onto the leash work well.

Welcome and glad to meet you!
We also have a dog. It seems the vast majority of the Rvers visiting the Park where we have a seasonal site also have dogs. Every once in a while we'll see a cat person, but most have dogs, many more than one. Just be sure to clean up after your dog. Carry a few plastic "poop" bags in your pocket.

We also travel with our dogs. We divide their food into individual servings and put it in snack size ziplock bags. This eliminates carrying a large bag (we have two labs) as well as making easy to grab and feed on the go. If we are unsure of the water quality, we also bring some water from home or purchase a gallon or two of "bottled" water strictly for dog use. No one needs a dog with the runs while camping
