Purpose/rules for this area of website?
I'm a newcomer to the RV world as well as to this website. So I'm not clear on what is purpose of this page. Should all of my RV novice questions (which would probably bore experienced people) be posted here instead of the main areas? On the other hand, a lot of the posts here are greetings. (I do like the welcoming spirit of it.)

The main purpose here is greetings, welcome etc. Questions are best asked in the section of the forums that the question fits into. Travel trailer , 5th wheel, appliances .
If you haven't been to the " FAQ " drop box in the blue bar , to the left of the "Log Out" many questions on posting are answered there.
Browse around and , remember , questions are always welcome , and the only stupid question , is the one you don't ask.
If you need to know , if you're not sure of anything , ask.
We were all new here once.

Howdy and welcome. As the Section description on the main page says, "Tell us about yourself, RV, family, or anything else you would like other members to know about you." So this is the introduction section. As Skip said, your specific questions should be posted in the appropriate areas of the board. Check the main page topics listing for descriptions. We're glad you signed up!

Thank you all for your helpfulness.
I will look around in the areas you suggested.
