Re-paper the walls of our RV or paint them? That is the question.

The walls in our used RV need to be freshened up. We wonder if it would be best to put up new wall paper or if we should go with a textured paint? Thanks.

Hi,

Since you are in AZ, you need to be sure that the heat will not effect the paint or wall paper. We have put some paper up in one a while back and you need to be sure it is well struck. Clean the existing walls really well, then apply a good coat of Shielz. If you plan to paint, put on the Shielz first.

What you have to be concerned about in either case is that the coating that is there now is going to stay stuck. Since it has done OK this far, I would not expect much proplem in that reguard.

Thanks

Thanks for the advice. I think we will go for the textured paint. We will wash the walls down well first though and apply the Shielz first before painting. Going to Home Depot...going to Home Depot. Thanks.

It would be best to test a small section that is sort of hidden before you attack the whole RV.
