Request permission to come aboard! Please?
Greetings Earthlings!
I own a 2007 Allegro Bus. I just registered on iRV2.com the other day while out on a trip. I am impressed with the RV community and all the friendly people we have met. I must say I am impressed with the layout of this site, and enjoy the RV news on the home page.
I've perused the forums and other areas of this site while on the road and am very impressed with the wealth of knowledge and experience of its members. I hope to gain further insight from you on RVing and maybe I can contribute a tip or two.
My co-pilot (wife) is a very strong supporter and is very meticulous when it comes to pre/post flight inspections. She too thoroughly enjoys our rides. She made comment yesterday how from her chair it looked like watching HD TV Discovery channel on the open road. Well 'nough said...

Permission granted!
We're glad you found us.
I know what your DW means about watching a program through the windshield. Mine calls it IMAX.

These are absolutely "Land Yachts"! Welcome to the forum!
There are many similarities to sea going vessels, and your role as captain should not be minimized. Rigging for underway, maintaining order on your vessel, the final decision, are all yours as captain. I spent 11 years in the US Navy on several nuclear subs, so this is a natural, but if you do not have this type of background, appreciate the responsibility you now have! Everyone's safety on and around your vessel is your responsibility - appreciate and respect this fact. Enjoy, and make the most of the adventure!

Another fraternity. I spent 5 years, 4 months and 6 days active duty (who's counting? And who can forget?) in the U.S. Marine Corps. I am the youngest of 3 brothers who also were U.S. Marines. We all served during the Vietnam conflict and gave a total of almost 40 years of active and honorable service. I heed your advice

Welcome. From your greeting I would think you might want to check out under "Just Conversation" the thread " RU an RV Mutant too?"
