Im new to RV travel and new here. Bought a 30' TT last fall and used it about 4 times and am now planning a 6-8 week trip cross country. Hope to get great insights here and hopefully add something of value.

Congrats!!!

Just remember, don't overplan & be flexible, stuff always happens. We like this place, let's stay longer. We hate this place, let's cut it short. Weather, breakdowns, etc. Don't try & cram it ALL in on the first big trip, otherwise you're just "driving" cross country, not "enjoying" the trip.

Good Luck!

Welcome aboard Rusty.
With that much time, may I suggest you stay off the interstates and just wander toward your destination. There is a whole lot of country out there to discover.
I wander down to Florida twice a year to see inlaws, and I try to take a different path each time, though I do have regular stops I try to include. I'm a sucker for car and plane museums. How many ways can you get to Pensacola from Colorado?
