Greetings ---- Been camping All of my life- came from a family of nine kids (so Hotel was out of the question)-- so we always camp ,and I started RVing when I got out of high school--- on my own.
My first Rv was one of those small trailers with the metal frame ---that you pulled it out and then you put the canvas on it ,and quickly went into buying a used pop-up when someone bought a hard side--- and remodeled it ,put new canvas on,new lift cables,etc... kept it for a few years-- then I found some thing else a little nicer, buy another one-- etcetera etcetera .
Worked my way through Travel trailers ,truck campers ,pop up ---things on that line-- now on my third fifth wheel. Just bought it ,wont bring it home from storage till spring up North.......( plus , need to sell my "old fifth wheel "..).....L.O.L.
Retired from the Fire service a couple yrs ago after almost 30 yrs ....still working for a few more yrs ..But plan on "Work camping "..even when I do "Retire"....
Been active on RV net many yrs , and was Midwest Wagonmaster for The Cardinal RV club for yrs but got a bigger newer rig, and looking forward to travel more in a few yrs.
Thats my story so ...thought I would try this forum.....RV Net gets a little challenging at times...
