Retirement Adventures

Acquired a Entegra Esteem 27U to set out to explore all the continuous lower states in an attempt to see mostly National and State parks. (Which is why I desired a shorter RV) Have visited lots of the cities in a business fashion myself and now would like to see the country with my wife when she retires in a few months. (I mentioned coach since I've not set up a profile yet.) Have done a few short trips to learn and test out the rig. Has a learning curve for sure and I'm hoping to use this community to aid in the process. Much is lacking in specifics on the coach and much I've read already demonstrates how helpful and knowledgeful this forum seems to be.

Looking at 3 big trips from Los Angeles - Utah, Florida and Maine and back to be the long duration ones in the next couple of years. For me it seems I need to make sure and slow down to enjoy the adventure and remember a YouTube video clip stating the adventure starts as you leave your home.

We retired 22 years ago and set out to do the same thing except we bought a used 37 foot diesel pusher, Never had any problems getting in and out of local, state national forest parks. We learned a lot and saw some fantastic things. Don't shy away from the unknown. As my granddaughter says "Nana and Pop Pop never have problems they just have adventures"

Good luck and
