Retirement Plan

Hello,

You got to start somewhere , right? For me that is with a plan.

Some background ....

The wife and i are now empty nesters, 2 childern, 3 grand kids and counting. We have a great homestead spread down here in South Florida and run a sucsessfull buisness.

Avid Harley davidson owners, have done several long durration trips on the bike, love being out on the road

We have decided that when we stop working and pass the business on to the kids, we want to do some more extended travels, 2-3 months at a time, maybe more

Like the idea of TV with a Fiver and also carry the HD with us, gives us flexability to unhook and use the TV if mother nature makes or we decide to.

To that end, just purchased the TV- a ford f450 platinum which seems to me to enough truck to tow pretty much any sized fiver that we would need, plus the weight of the HD and all our "stuff"

We are still several years out on completeing the plan and getting the 5th wheel, but figured had to have something to tow it with, and my 2001 f250 has 246,000 on it so it was getting time for a new truck anyway.....

We are looking forward to being a meber here, LEARNING, what we can and hopefully sharing our expieriences with the community. It may take us a while to complete the plan, but you got to start somewhere - we chose to start right here.

Welcome to the family

Have you been to any RV shows or dealers looking at any toy haulers yet?
