Room for one more?
Stumbled upon this site when looking for an answer to get the generator going. Our first week or so of MH ownership was a challenge, we ended up aborting our first trip out last week......
Took delivery of the new to us 2005 Winnie on Saturday, got it cleaned up and loaded, ready to head out on Wednesday! Got the food, clothes, OH and the cats (7 of them, we rescue) and the lovebird.....got on the road and 'check engine' lights up on the dash. Turned around and came back home, luckily we were only 10 miles from home. After 2 days at the dealer we found out it was a sensor problem! LOL, better safe than sorry!
So thank you all for all the info, we look forward to getting to know everyone here!

After a couple of get familiar with the MH trips, you will be able to enjoy the experience better. Good that the CEL was only a sensor and something more major.

We DID! Thanks! There is a switch in the stairwell that had been turned off, as soon as we turned that on and tried again, the generator started. Coming from a fifth wheel we have much to learn!
