RV newbie saying hello

Hi all,
First time RV'er. We bought an '08 Newmar Dutch Star 4354. Two weeks ago we drove to Florida from New Mexico to pick it up and then drove it back to NM. Our goal is to live in it full time. Now that we have it, our next task is to downsize! Not a task that I'm looking forward too! ;-)

Unfortunately the seller/dealer wasn't all that familiar with the RV or its idiosyncrasies, so I'm having to figure things out on my own. I may have to find someone in the Albuquerque area to help me out since RTFM hasn't been very helpful for some of the systems.

Anyway, glad to be aboard and thanks in advance since I'll likely be asking a lot of newbie questions.

Hi there, were you able to figure everything out on the trailer? I saw you posted this a couple of months ago but I'm just now joining the forum and am from the ABQ area.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new rig.

You are joining a good group of folks here with good info to share. Read the various threads here and ask questions as they come up or add info if you can. Check the Newmar thread for an place to gather info and ask specific questions about your coach.

Good luck and enjoy the adventure.

Hi Joe, welcome to you as well. The discovery process continues. I was given the name of a mobile mechanic that I'm trying to get ahold of to troubleshoot my generator and have him walk me through some other "mysterious" systems!

Thanks, and welcome to NM. Our intent is to live in the RV full time. So when the time comes to leave, we will very much miss NM.
