RV Rookies
We are new to the RV world. We have ridden Harley's (Ultra Classic) for the past 5 years however after hip replacement we decided we may need to supplement our travels with more than 2 wheels. We now own a 1999 Bounder 34J. We have been out once for a long weekend, discovered how muche we "didn't" know, from how to hook up, how to turn on hot water, which tank is black and which tank is gray. We determined it was an adventure and returned home ready for the next one. This past week temps in AL hit lows we typically only read about....we spent the past weekend replacing virtually ever water line and wondering what in the world are we doing....the Harley didnt have these issues
Looking forward to more adventures

Welcome to IRV2.
Did you have to give up the Ultra Classics completely? Hopefully not. Bounders are a common unit around here. I hope yours treats you well.
In addition to this forum, youtube has some videos up on some basic rving tasks to help visualize. As long as you have no black tank dumping issues all is good.

Congrats on the new rig! Hang in there, you'll get it figured out!

Thanks All!! We think we are going to enjoy it every bit as much as the Harley, only a bit warmer and dryer. Plans are to trailer the Harley, but that will come a little later. Our first experiance was at Oak Mountian State Park, it was like a family reunion, we were welcomed with open arms and LOTS of free help....we know how the awnings work now
