RV wannabe checking in

Hey everyone, Ontario Canada checking in. Weíre done camping in a tent trailer. The boss wants a something with a washroom and I want to bring the boat or car depending on destination. So it looks like a motorhome is in our future if we continue camping.

Because Iím cheap and donít want payments, Iím considering updating an older, lower mileage rig if I can find a good candidate that fits my budget.

Iím thinking a 25-27í C Class with a back bedroom or rear living with 2 opposed couch beds might be a good setup.

If we try this and like it, we may take a sabbatical if I can work remotely while on the road (but likely in a bigger machine or 5r)

Class C RVs tend to have more sleeping spaces than storage, so you will have to plan accordingly. We had ours for 16 years, and would go for months at a time.

Class C will have rear bedroom or rear kitchen, but rarely rear living room.

It's so weird being the same age as old people.

Welcome to iRV2 .

From the currently "unusually hot " west coast .

Used Class C's , be aware that water leaks in the overhead bunk area are a HUGE problem on the Cs , pull the mattress out and check the whole overhead for water damage.

In Ontario , you're already aware of rust damage to frame and brake parts , if you're not confident doing your own inspection , hire a pro!
