Sergeant First Class

Hello all: We are a military family. Myself, my husband our two sons, my sister her husband my brother and his son are all in the army and some of us are still serving. We just purchase our RV and already we are having problems. Serving our country we don't make a lot of money but we have been blessed to save up a little money to buy a 2008 RV. So any assistance you can give us would be greatly appreciated. We have 180 total years together serving our beautiful country and now we just want to see and enjoy the country we have served. Thank you so much for your time.

Welcome to the Forum and thank you to all of you for your service.

If you have any questions about your RV ask away. But it would be good to include the make, model and engine when you do. A lot of us use that info in our signature.

While staying at the Mid-South NAS Campground, in Millington TN, I came across a military husband and is military wife living in their 5th Wheel in the campground. Both being stationed there, they shared the additional duties of Camp Host. They shared with me that they saved money living in the RV in lieu of giving up their housing allowance to be in military housing. It worked for them.

Welcome. I had some sort of RV for most of my 31 years in the military. Started with a Popup. Assignments often got in the way of RVing enjoyment but we managed to get away into the wilds as often as we could. Even toured Europe and the UK in a TT. It was a great experience. Enjoy.

Welcome to IRV2!. This is a great forum; lots of good advice and sometimes very entertaining as people try to convince others that they should only buy what they have.

Back to your initial question: what make, model and year RV do you have, and what sort of problems are you having?

Also, one of the best forum features is "Search"; just type in a topic and you will see many posts about your issue or problem.
