Soon to be: Full timing~~
Hello,
New to the group AND to RV'ing. My husband and I sold our home (2 wks ago) and will be purchasing our "home on wheels" withing the next couple weeks. Decided to take the plunge and just do it!.
We have 4 children (ONLY the 4 legged kind). 3 cats and 1 dog. My husband will continue to work for the next couple years. He is a mechanical engineer and at present, does research and development for a large generator company. I would like to start building a crafting business. I sew quilts and also make/sew crafts. I plan on doing this on the road once we finally make it to the traveling part. I will also find any other kind of work to make a little extra money for the road.
We are still trying to figure out what is the best "rig" for us, class A or 5th wheel. Both come with pro's and cons but I feel confident we will find the "right one for us".
ANY advice from seasoned full time RV'rs would be greatly appreciated. From the best RV insurance to anything advice on slides vs older vs newer model to figuring out how to craft on the road to living with 4 furry friends and where the heck to put the litter box.....help!!!
Thank you all so much for any and all input! We plan on purchasing in the next week or two. If it was up to me, it would be today so I could get the heck out of this extended stay.
