Starting a new life
Hello all, I am 50 yrs old and married to a nurse (recently) and we have decided to purchase a Thor ACE 30.1 (new). After the purchase (soon), my wife and I plan on traveling the USA and Canada full time. I no longer work because I was hit by a drunk driver in 2007 and was in the hospital for 7 months straight. We plan on being nomads for a few years, the kids are mostly grown (2 remain in college), and now is a good time to disconnect from the land line life. I have been lurking on this forum for a few weeks and decided it was time to join. Good day to all.

That sounds like a very difficult way of retiring early. I realize that it was not your choice to do it that way but at least you survived and are able to enjoy the RV world.
There's a bunch of stuff to learn on these forums.  I have been here and on other RV forums since 2010 and am still learning a bunch every day.
Is this your first time with an RV???
