Smile Starting on Vancouver Island then????

I have a 2004 Volvo VNL 780 with a 250" wheelbase tandem. Add to that the just purchased 53' 'dry van' with a 3' drop giving me a 12' ceiling. Everything is air suspension.
Most of it will be two floors, car in the back that doubles as my office, all solar power, no propane. Black water composted, grey water recycled, lots of fresh water carried in the tractor... off-grid for as long as we want.
Almost finished rebuilding the tractor, then to Alberta where Gregg at rvhaulers.ca will help get it registered as an RV, then to Sacramento to pick up the trailer and back to Vancouver Island to finish our home on wheels.

i tried to put a picture here, but perhaps it was too big... everything crashed.
Will have to investigate how to send pictures... i have lots! Rebuilding the Volvo from the ground up and taking pictures along the way. Project for early this week was moving the push button transmission control from the very dangerous an poorly fastened original spot to a very secure and attractive place on the armrest. Today working on antennas and radios.
